AQUAFEST 5K
This is the first ever Belgrade Watershed Aquafest 5K !!! 
The Road Race will be followed by a day full of fun events on land and water!

Race Day Registration & Packet Pick-up:
6:30 to 7:45AM, August 30, 2008, at Camp Runoia, Point Road, Belgrade.

5K Race Description
The race is an Official, Timed, 5K (3.1 Mile) Road Race on a Safe, Rolling, Out-and-Back Course. 
It begins at the northern end of Point Road at the Camp Runoia entrance. 
$15 Entry Fee includes Official Times, Good Food, Great Prizes, and T-shirt for
those who register by August 22.

AQUAFEST benefits the BRCA Lake Trust, a collaboration of the five lake associations;
Belgrade Lakes Association, East Pond Association, North Pond Association,
McGrath Pond/Salmon Lake Association, and the Snow Pond/Messalonskee Lake Association.

The entry fee is $15 for the 5K pre-registration and $18 on race day.

The first 100 pre-registered runners receive a shirt if registered before August 22nd.

Awards go to the top three overall male and female finishers, and the top three in six age groups.

AQUAFEST is hosted by the lake associations for East, Great, Long, McGrath, Messalonskee, North, and Salmon lakes and ponds working together as the Belgrade Regional Conservation Alliance Lake Trust. Lake Trust programs include Courtesy Boat Inspections, Invasive Plant Surveys, the Conservation Corps, and a Working Group to improve and stabalize water quality by limiting Phosphorus enrichment of our lakes.
